"Rolling To You": Inspired by a wheelchair, it draws on a French love story
While Vietnamese audiences are constantly commenting on the "Avengers: Infinity War" blockbuster, the French romantic comedy "Rolling to You" silently appears as a summer starter with a story. The strange thing revolves around the wheelchair.
Not a blockbuster movie or a big Hollywood cast, "Roll" to you (Title: Tout le monde debout, title: Rolling to You) still topped the box office in France for two consecutive weeks, beat all the blockbuster at that time by the humor, romantic character is very "French".

What made the movie so real was the authenticity of the story, inspired by Franck Dubosc's own mother with disabilities and her childhood love story.
The concept of the film came to a close when Franck Dubosc (director and screenwriter and actor Jocelyn in the film) had to witness his mother's difficulties in a newly purchased wheelchair. The wheelchair is a solution for the health of his mother can travel more easily, but always hide the inadequacies can not be resolved thoroughly.
"I suddenly realized that people with disabilities are facing such difficulties. And then, I want to tell a love story based on the difference is not cultural or social, but physical. matter!" - director shared talent.
Desire to tell a romantic love story about a person with disabilities also comes from Franck's childhood love, when he gives love to a girl with eyesight. "Everybody teases her, but I see her with a different look, and I realize that her difference is a strong point, and it has her charm. You need courage - that's why I want to make this movie. "

Sharing about being both a director and screenwriter, Franck Dubosc says that taking on the role of "3 in 1" is more challenging than he imagined. However, it can be seen that, with decades of experience attached to the profession, Franck Dubosc has done excellent in all three roles, bringing a film that is both humorous but also extremely delicate.
The French title of the film translated into Vietnamese can be understood as "Everyone is standing," only the two main characters are sitting ... in a wheelchair. Their relationship is gradually being developed in a wheelchair. Jocelyn (Franck Dubosc) is a successful man who digs flowers and lies to flirt with girls. At once a wheelchair fancied her hot neighbor, Jocelyn was introduced to her sister, Florence (Alexandra Lamy), who was actually disabled. The situation worships then lead to many jokes to tears because Jocelyn missed the "reporter must follow the TB": pretending to wheelchair when meeting with Florence.
The title is also the message that Franck Dubosc sent to Jocelyn "likes to lie": Stand up with your own feet and elevate yourself. By pointing out all the stupidity that a man can make when he thinks he can control everything, Franck directs the audience to a whole new angle when asserting all the defects will not. Ever can exist when you see someone with the lens of love. And so on, each turn of the wheelchair to help the two individuals rolled together.
The film does not have the new motifs, just around love, cheat and forgive. But the appeal of the film lies in the smallest details. The characteristic of the French film is not to break, but instead, gently lead the viewer through the film scene romantic and very ordinary.

To be able to truly experience the hidden layers below, the viewer must chain all the smallest individual movements of the character and the scene in a uniform circuit. The second or none of the "rolls" that come to me are not any tragedies, just about how the characters enjoy life and still express the full meaning of the film.
"Roll" to me is a true film from the inspiration for the film to the acting of each character, so it is no wonder that the film is again received warmly in this country and the country. Neighboring Europe.
With space, context and love of French, the film will be an interesting entertainment, humorous and poetic to start your own hot summer. The film will "roll" to the cinema to debut Vietnamese audiences on May 11th across the country.
